sunday school

Presently, Sunday school at Claxton First hosts a Young Adult Class (for those adults out of high school through those with children still at home) and the Fellowship Class (primarily composed of those with no children remaining at home).

Men's fellowship

The Claxton First Men's Fellowship is a solid group of men who basically meet monthly at 8:00 a.m. on the second Sunday of the month at the Parker Center (CFC's auxiliary campus in Claxton at 708 Earl Avenue). These meetings include a hot breakfast, a time of Christian fellowship, and just a little  business. Occasionally, there may be a guest speaker. This group is always welcoming of new participants and enjoys projects throughout the year. Their most recent endeavor was launching the Pumpkin Patch which serves to meet many needs locally and beyond.

The Men's Bible Study is a casual group that meets at 7:00 p.m. on Monday evenings. They presently meet at the Parsonage across from the Parker Family Life Center.

Women's bible study

There's a women's Bible Study offered on Wednesday mornings (10:00 a.m.) and Sunday evenings (5:30 p.m.). These launch fresh in January and September.

SUPER SENIORS

For those 55 years and up (really anyone is welcome!), the Super Seniors are comprised of senior citizens from a variety of churches. They meet at noon  on the second Thursday of the month in the CFC Fellowship Hall for a delicious meal and an informative and inspirational program. Presently, the meal costs only $7.
